Galloway Gathering Project
The brief
We provided PR for the roll out and subsequent year of Galloway Cheddar’s, new purpose-led initiative with Scotland’s National Chef, Gary Maclean. The company partnered with the charity, FareShare Scotland, to provide 10,000 hot meals across Scotland during the month of May to help tackle loneliness and food poverty in Scottish communities.
Impact
We secured broadcast interviews on ITV Border, BBC Scotland, Greatest Hits radio and West Sound FM for the charity’s community development co-ordinator as well as a Galloway Cheddar representative. In addition, there was coverage in key trade outlets such as The Grocer, six local newspapers including the Galloway Gazette and Dumfries and Galloway Standard and the front page of the Glasgow Times, reaching an audience of more than 4m.
