Fundraising Gala

The brief

I worked with Ubuntu Pathways for three years provide PR support for its London fundraising Gala.

My activities included pre and post event press release, on night social media coverage via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, inviting journalists along to cover the event and build relationships, secure pre and post event interviews with CEO and oversee the photographer on the night.

Impact

Journalists from BBC Africa, The Guardian Voluntary Sector, BBC World Service and the Daily Mail attended. I also secured coverage in The Guardian, The Guardian Voluntary Sector, Charity Today, African News Agency, The South African, North South News.
