The Big Chocolate Tea Party

The brief

I was Head of PR for teh charity for three years during which time I oversaw the communications team and covered all aspects of PR, campaigns, digital media and brand management to raise awareness of the charity and help drive fundraising.

I also ran the annual The Big Chocolate Tea Party campaign. This included overseeing all PR and marketing to launch the campaign including celebrity outreach to support it, hosting a launch event and securing a media partnership with Woman’s Own.

Impact

On average I secured 30+ pieces of coverage each month in regional newspapers and national newspapers and consumer magazines as well as broadcast media across the UK. In addition The Big Chocolate Tea Party campaign raised more than £40k in the first year.
